Hi everyone - and welcome to Moscow Russia Insider's Guide site forum! It's extremely nice to see you here - and although right now the forum looks more like a ghost town, I'm sure that soon enough it will be a thriving metropolis. Just like Moscow!
Alright, if you still haven't had the chance to learn more about myself - allow me to do a little introduction. My name is Anton (very nice to meet you, by the way), and I'm a pure, 100% veteran Muscovite. I'm married to beautiful Russian woman, and father to a marvelous kid. My work is mainly in logistics, although I do have quite a lot of tourism operation background.I am Russian by origin, but I've had a chance to travel throughout the world and see other countries and people.
During my travels, I couldn't help noticing how little the folks abroad know about Moscow and Russia. Sure, it was completely legitimate during the times of the Iron Curtain (ahhh, sweet memories of youth), but nowadays Russia is more than open for visitors, and apart from several inconveniences here and there - there's nothing much that can stop you from visiting.
It was then that I realized my mission - to bring the light of knowledge to the Westerners and to teach them about what my country is really about. To put it simple - help out those who are looking for information about Moscow and hesitate to come. And thus,
Moscow Russia Insider's Guide was born.I tried to be as detailed as I could, providing answers to every possible question I could think of. Still, I felt that was somehow not enough. And so, I created this forum to let everyone discuss every possible topic connected to that huge, fascinating city we call Moscow.
